    35 Rem Help needed!!!

I'm shooting a Marlin 336. The FTX Bullets I was playing with started giving me trouble. Anyone have any luck with Speer 220 gr RN?? I have 3 boxes of these and a few various powders. My son is wanting to use this gun in a week.

Wes at 50 yards the are damn near hole for hole..At 100 all over the place. I have exhausted every avenue on them. I found 100 200 gr Sierra RN that I had got from you in the past and will start all over again tomorrow

I’ve shot Speer 220gr flat nose in the past, they worked well for me. I don’t remember what powder I used tho. These days I use the hornady 200gr RN, with IMR4198. Its not a fast load, 1850fps, but my gun likes them.

I loaded and used the speer 220 this year. I also had problems with the FTX . It's a sledge hammer bullet . I put a buck and 2 does down hard with them . Using H335 , CCI LRM primers , best results were around 1700 FPS . 336

Thanks for the Help fellas...The Sierra 200 Grain did the trick. I was starting to think that I had scope or ring issues. Very Happy with the RN bullet

Excellent! What powder did you end up using?
